Poor Richards Landing is Olde Cape

For years, people have asked me why I go to Poor Richard’s Landing in Provincetown, when I own a home in Harwichport on Cape Cod. My answer? Simple. Poor Richards Landing is Olde Cape and unique to the Cape. When I am there, I am off the grid as much as I want to be. As an artist, I love sitting on their dock and painting or sketching or just imagining my next work. Deeply relaxing. Diane and Sarah are perfect hosts, very capable and helpful when you want it but never bothersome. They feel like family to me. They know the town intimately and can queue you into the best place for this or that, and equally important, what to avoid. So I go back every year, because it is idyllic no matter where you come from, even if that’s another place on the Cape.
